It isn't very often that two siblings will both get married during the same summer. So when Alex asked us if we were available for his wedding, just a few months after his sister Katy's, we were doubly delighted! Alex and his "main squeeze" Suzie had in mind a retro-styled engagement shoot, with a vintage throwback to the 50's era. So they were super excited to have the first part of the shoot photographed at Johnny Rockets. But we were excited to capture the interaction of these two love birds - their sincere affection is certainly contagious!
We almost made it out of the mall AND THEN...we (Timothy) had a vision. So we "stopped time" for the shots below. L-O-V-E them :)
For the second half of the shoot, we went for a woodsy feel, just a short drive away at Reinstein Woods. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Again with this genuine love stuff - it's so stinkin' cute!
When asked about Suzie, Alex told us that he knew the first time he spoke to her that there was something there. He loves that Suzie is a go-getter. "And I love her hair." As for Suzie...well, she brushed Alex off--three times!--but then gave in. "I love his easy-going personality," she says. "And his eyes." Ah, those eyes!
Alex and Suzie, we had a great time hanging out with you two! You are an awesome couple, inside and out! We can't wait to celebrate your August wedding with you!
