When Joshua and Elianne (Josh and Lilly for short) first met three years ago, no sparks flew--at least on her end, according to Josh. A few months later they met again through mutual friends and he did "notice that beautiful girl." Thereafter, they became good friends...and as Lilly says, “it’s been good ever since.”
As we recall it, the day of their shoot was better than good - it was THE perfect autumn day. We were so excited to have a crisp, bright landscape as the backdrop to showcase their love story.
We started our shoot at one of our favorite locations, Delaware Park.
Something got Lilly tickled here, and it was infectious...
We moved along to a woodsy area of the park for a few more smiles, dances, walks, and laughs.
Josh and Lilly came prepared with a wardrobe change, so we paused for a bit at Spot Coffee...and of course decided to snatch a few shots while there. PS, you two clean up awesomely well :)
After our brief stop at Spot Coffee, we headed out to shoot against the beautiful backdrop of Kleinhans Music Hall.
“To truly be in love with someone these days is such a blessing," Josh says. When asked about the wedding day, he replied, "We want to be surrounded in a beautiful atmosphere to portray what we have here…to tell our love story, so people can see how we have been blessed.”
We like to think the blessing already shows...
Pretty sure it was somewhere in here where we heard Tim's famous last words "one more shot" ... Yeah, I guess the shots were worth it.
Josh and Lilly, congratulations! You two are a beautiful couple inside and out! We can't wait for the wedding day!
